Thanks to all of our Friends for LIFE

LIFE Project Partners and Friends for LIFE offer partnership, support and expertise as we work together. Kansans who live with advanced chronic and terminal illnesses find advocates and friends in the many people and groups that compose the LIFE Project.

Friends for LIFE provide financial support for the work of the LIFE Project. Donors may choose to celebrate the life of someone who has been important in their lives or to honor a living person for a special occasion or for any reason. Please visit our Friends for LIFE page that honors and thanks those who have made financial contributions to the LIFE Project.

Please also visit our LIFE Project Partner page that honors and thanks the organizations that join us in the work of helping Kansans with advanced chronic and terminal illnesses live with dignity, comfort and peace.

As you consider your gift-giving, we hope you will consider a gift to the LIFE Project. Your gift helps LIFE:

  • Provide human support, via toll-free counseling, for Kansans who face tough issues in caring for and about those they love
  • Engage Kansans in advance care planning -- thinking about the kind of care they want if they are ever unable to speak for themselves
  • Assist families like yours in finding tools to guide them as they talk about these tough choices
  • Support community leaders as they work as advocates for citizens all across the state
  • Provide support and resources to Kansas healthcare professionals who serve the advanced chronically and terminally ill
  • Serve these most vulnerable Kansans - those living with advanced chronic and terminal illnesses - by providing advocacy, resources, tools and a voice of support and care

We are grateful for gifts of any size and look forward to recognizing you as a Friend for LIFE. Your gift will help LIFE continue to provide services for Kansans who live with advanced chronic and terminal illnesses. Thank you for being a part of the LIFE Project and supporting our efforts in creating change. Together, we are making a difference.

We invite you to join the efforts of the LIFE Project: Become a "Friend for LIFE"!

We are asking you to make an investment in the ongoing work of the LIFE Project. Unfortunately, the original grants that helped the LIFE Project as we began are ending soon. At the same time, new and exciting initiatives call for passion, hard work and continuing our commitment to improving end-of-life care in communities across Kansas.

The hard work of our numerous "Friends" has helped us grow to over 100 LIFE Project Partners, including LIFE's Caring Communities that are working in local communities all across Kansas.

But there is much to be done. Lasting change takes time, patience, and a willingness to work for the long haul. Your financial investment, no matter how small or large, will assure that this important and life-giving work for end-of-life care continues, so that all Kansans can live with dignity, comfort and peace at the end of life.

Please become a "Friend for LIFE" by examining your donor options and sending your gift today. Your response will serve as the rallying cry as we move forward. Print the LIFE Contribution Form or contact the LIFE Project office to make your pledge.
